Like healthy plants,
we try to put down roots
In a world that changes so quickly, we look
for what does not change -
for stability and security.
God's plan is the only hope for
permanence and real stability in our lives -
how can we reject what we need
so much?
If we do, it will be to our cost.
Like unhealthy, unproductive plants,
we will be uprooted.
